National Development and Reform Commission: 421 million passengers sent over the country during the Spring Festival holiday

[TechWeb] according to the official website of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), during the Spring Festival holiday this year, from February 4 to 10 (New Year's Eve to the sixth day of the first month), a total of 421 million passengers were sent across the country, an increase of 0.35 percent over the same period last year.

Among them, the road is still the largest number of trips, reaching 338 million, down from last year 0.8 percent; railway 60.391 million, up 5.8; civil aviation 12.586 million, an increase of 10.6; 10.223 million people were transported by water, down 3.2 percent.

February 10 was the highest passenger flow since the start of this year's Spring Festival, sending 95.516 million passengers on the same day, an increase of 0.1 percent over the same period last year. Of these, 12.646 million were railways, up 4.4 percent; 79.35 million by road, down 0.8; 2.026 million by civil aviation, up 10.5; and 1.4939 million by water, down 3.9 percent.
